MY WORLD

MY WORLD is a NYC based indie-rock musical phenomenon. Their live performances have graced the stages of countless concert stages and music venues across the United States. With an uncanny entertainment industry “cult-following” they have also been found making appearances at Comedy Central/Viacom private parties, iconic performances at New York City’s World Trade Center and on the video screens at all of the Steve Madden retail stores! Their unique sound stems from each member’s diverse talents and sense of musical adventure. MY WORLD is known for their eclectic mix of compositions from straight up rock, metal, speed country, alternative rock, stoner rock, prog rock and acid jazz with riveting instrumental sections and segues.

 

MY WORLD signed to BMG in 2013 and released their first album “All Shapes And Sizes”, receiving worldwide radio play. The video for their first single “RON” featured notable cameos from Brain O’Halloran, Mason Reese, Steve Grillo, John Holmstrom, Crazy Legs Conte and others. In 2017, the musical masterpiece “Domination” was released which had songs featured in many TV and film productions. MY WORLD has just released a new single called “Ratatat”, which will be the impetus of a new cartoon project called “In The Dumps” created by the inventor of “punk”, John Holmstrom (Punk Magazine, The Ramones, CBGBs movie).

 

MY WORLD is John Montalbano (Bass/Vocals), Chris Munger (Guitar/Vocals) and Rob Noxious (Drums). All three are experienced session players and collectively have played or recorded with artists like Public Enemy, Chuck D, DMC, Killcode, Skunk Baxter, Robert Randolph, etc. They have also written and recorded music for TV and film with credits from Google, Fox, Comedy Central, Food Network, MSG, Sportsman Channel, Fuse, VH1, etc. and have won Telly, Promax and ESPY award along with Emmy Nominations.

 

In 2019, MY WORLD performed in support of Altitudes & Attitudes (Dave Ellefson (Megadeth), Frank Bello (Anthrax), Bumblefoot (Guns And Roses), Dave Ellefson’s Basstory Tour, Dellacoma and Larry Mitchell. MY WORLD is currently preparing for a supporting promotional tour for the release of their next album installment as well as the new “In The Dumps” cartoon.
